Adopting Agile: How to Avoid the Top 10 Pitfalls
by
Bal Mahale , Senior Director at CA Technologies
|
|
|
| Topic |
According to the 2011 IT
project success rate survey, roughly 60% of the Agile projects are successful.
What can you do to make sure that your project is not one of the 40%? Bal Mahale
will illuminate on paradoxes of Agile that he has discovered while coaching large,
global teams as they adopted Agile.
- It is a simple methodology that is hard to adopt.
- It is extreme discipline combined with extreme flexibility.
- It is top down and bottom up.
- It provides freedom for local teams while maintaining global control.
