"Business Strategy and the Role of Relationship and Portfolio Management"
It would be easy to argue that the most strategic aspects of IT/Business alignment are
relationship management and project portfolio management. The issue is how well they are done.
Everyone does relationship management, but few acknowledge or devote resources to it.
Portfolio management is something that everyone conceptually understands, but few do effectively.
Speakers Craig Horgan and Suzanne Beltramini will provide insights into how Bose Corporation
approaches relationship and portfolio management with separate but aligned groups in their IT
organization.

Suzanne Beltramini is a Sr. Project Consultant, in the Corporate Information Services (CIS)
Portfolio and Project Management Office (PPMO) at Bose Corporation. She has been with Bose since 1995

understand, maximize and govern Bose’s IT investment portfolio, management of the CIS resource and
project management methodologies, and overseeing a PMI accredited, in-house, project management

requires a tight partnership with CIS and business intake sources for all new project work.

office, quality assurance program, and service management processes. Prior to joining Bose, he worked at The Home Depot in a
variety of IT leadership roles in the areas of business applications, infrastructure, electronic commerce, data warehouse,
