Title: Presenting with Impact

Subtitle: Achieving Project Success Through Effective Presentation Planning, Preparation, and Delivery

Synopsis

In business, perception is reality.  To achieve results in today's fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment, project managers must master the skills of influence and communication.  Whether inspiring team members to higher levels of commitment and performance or simply relaying project status to customers and sponsors, the project manager must constantly and consistently deliver clear, focused messages to key stakeholders through a variety of channels and formats.  One of the most critical formats -- and the one that often induces the most fear -- is public speaking.

This presentation will help project managers and team members improve their ability to engage and persuade stakeholders by covering practical strategies and techniques for preparing and delivering effective presentations.  By following the proven ten-step process that will be introduced, project managers and team members will enhance their presentation skills, boost confidence, and take command of stakeholder perceptions.  Tips on the use of color, fonts, visuals, and other resources will also be addressed.  Time permitting, the presentation will also highlight tips and tricks for working more efficiently and effectively with Microsoft© PowerPoint™ software.
