| About the Speaker |
David W Burr is an internationally known trainer,
coach, and project
manager currently employed by the Hartford Financial Services Group in
the Office of the CIO. He has taught project management and
facilitated
process improvement for over 10 years in the United States, China,
India, South Korea, and Mexico. He has more than 20 years
experience in
the project management practice, managing multi-million dollar
technology, manufacturing, and construction projects, and mentoring all
levels of management on project management and process improvement.
His
focus on refining PMOs in many global corporations has reshaped their
organizational influence and increased their overall value-add.
He is a
recognized expert in project Management Methods, Process Improvement,
and Organizational Change. He has extensive experience in CMMi,
and is
ITIL Foundation and PMP certified. He lives in Hebron,
Connecticut, USA
with his wife Monica, and his children Kyle, Ben, Tyler and Jessica.
