Topic “Excuse Me… Where do I Find the Project Management Office?”

The use of the Project Management Office is a natural development in the pursuit of continuous process improvement and more successful project implementations. However it is not a panacea and comes in more variants than Baskin-Robbins® has flavors. This presentation will illuminate issues, answer questions and trigger thoughtful consideration of your future PMO.

About the Speaker Bruce C. Chadbourne, PMP is a 29-year veteran of defense systems and IT software engineering, spanning service as a U.S. Naval Officer, followed by Engineering Project Management with GE, Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Navy. His experience ranges from Systems/ Software development to Integration & Test for military systems, commercial networks, and consumer software products. He has been a Novell CNE and Lotus Notes system administrator. Bruce has established company Project Management/Support Offices and developed integrated management processes in concert with capability maturity models (CMM-I).

In addition to independent consulting, Bruce has served as a professional instructor of Project Management certificate programs for over 7 years for over 35 industry clients. His expertise in risk management initiatives has been recognized throughout the Lockheed Martin Corporation and BAE SYSTEMS.
