Aligning Projects With Business Strategy

Many project managers struggle to demonstrate their projects' financial contributions to executives. This session will show you techniques that you can implement immediately to improve your standing within your organization by showing how your projects support business strategy and impact the bottom line.

    About the Speaker

    Tim Kress, PMP  has been an enterprise project manager, technical advisor and consultant for the past 16 years in the communications, banking, and software industries. Tim specializes in managing revenue positive technology projects. He also directs new product rollouts and cost saving initiatives in non-technology areas.

    Tim is a Faculty Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts at Boston and is an active member of the Ocean State Project Management Institute chapter.

    Tim has developed and delivered dynamic training programs for professionals in project management and business integration and has written articles on project management for such industry publications as Projects@Work, The Center for Business Practices' People on Projects Newsletter, AllPM.com, and The Manager.org.

    Tim received a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. He resides in Franklin, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
