Duties and Responsibilities
|

Role
- The Secretary records and archives the chapter board meeting minutes
- The Secretary is an elected officer reporting to the Chapter President
Responsibilities
- Keep records of all proceedings, actions, and chapter board meetings
- Take notes during board meetings. Send minutes to board members.
- Track action items and list in meeting minutes
- Conduct other correspondence of the chapter as requested by the President
- Maintain archive of chapter board meetings and hand over to chapter historian (new web site)
- Track time during chapter meetings to ensure meetings is kept on schedule
- Maintain and deliver all permanent records to successor. Provide guidance and training to successor.
- Provide any relevant functional information for posting to Central MA web site as needed.

Desired Qualifications
|
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
- Comfortable and proficient addressing groups
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Keen attention to detail as well as solid project management skills
- Highly organized; self-starter
- PMI National and Central MA member in good standing
- Attends monthly chapter and Board of Director Meetings
