Duties and Responsibilities

Role

• The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the development, support and maintenance functions of the Chapter Website and the BOD Chapter Website.
• Serves as the lead point of contact for any IT-related project the Chapter pursues.
• Appointed position reporting to the Chapter President.

Responsibilities

1. Serves as primary interface to all IT vendors used by the Chapter
   • The web site maintainer will coordinate the relationship with a web-hosting service provider including annual renewal.
2. Ensures web site content is current, accurate, and available for both the http://www.pmicmass.com and online Operations and Policy Center (BOD website)
3. Maintains a full backup copy of the production Chapter website
4. Provides production support to any website related issues

Desired Qualifications

1. Proficient in the use of HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, and FTP
2. Strong follow-up skills
3. Keen attention to detail, as well as solid project management skills
4. Highly organized; self-starter
5. PMI National and Central MA member in good standing
6. Attends monthly chapter and Board of Director Meetings
