Melinda A. Mason, PMP is the Program Manager for the US Shared Services Global IT department within the adidas Group, a global leader in the sporting goods industry. As Program Manager, she is instrumental in ensuring projects are managed successfully, delivered on-time and within budget.

She has 9 years of experience in project management primarily with ERP implementations. Melinda has spent majority of the years working for Reebok until they were acquired by the adidas Group. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.

One Day Training Event on Microsoft Project 2007

On May 30th, stay informed by controlling your project work, schedule, and finances, and effectively communicate project data. Get started with the new Microsoft Project 2007! In this one-day training event, learn what's new with Project 2007, and the "more than basics" on how to effectively use this tool for your projects.

The event runs from 8 AM to 4:00 PM and will be held at the Microsoft Technology Center in Waltham. The event costs $375 for non-Chapter members and $325 for Chapter members. The fee covers the seminar, materials, and lunch.

2008 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium

On May 21, the 2008 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium is being held on the MIT Campus. Chapter members are invited at the preferred price when registering. Tracks are available in both Emerging Technologies and Vertical Industries. A keynote will be presented at the Greening of the Data Center.

2008 MetSIG Global Online Congress now available

The Central Massachusetts Chapter has partnered with the MetSIG to allow you access to FREE live and archived webinars! MetSIG is delivering new webinars every day throughout the month. These webinars are free for Chapter members. A required passcode has been distributed to all members by email. If complete a survey for each webinar you view, the MetSIG will report the PDUs for you.

On April 8, 2008 we held our 5 Year Anniversary Celebration with a record turn-out of over 100 attendees. We started the anniversary celebration with a non-alcoholic 'champagne toast' and cupcakes.
